Is Prooof free?

Yes - checking what you're owed is completely free. I offer optional paid plans for power users who want extra automation, but the core refund discovery costs nothing.

Is Prooof safe?

Yes. Prooof only reads receipt and confirmation emails - never personal correspondence. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can delete your account at any time.

How does Prooof find refunds?

Prooof analyses every purchase in your inbox and sorts it into one of three categories - Goods (Consumer Rights Act, up to 6 years on faulty items), Services (must be done with reasonable care and skill) or Travel (UK261/EU261, Delay Repay, Package Travel). The category decides which rules apply and what claim to surface.

Do I need paperwork or original receipts?

No - your inbox is the paperwork. Prooof captures the proof of purchase automatically and presents it when you're ready to claim.

What countries does Prooof support?

Prooof is built for the UK and uses UK consumer law. Some flight and travel rules also apply across the EU for UK travellers.

Can Prooof claim on my behalf?

Yes. Prooof drafts the claim using the reason you provide, then sends the email to the retailer, operator or supplier on your behalf - including chasers and escalation emails if they don't respond. You stay in control and can review or stop any message, but the legwork is mine.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can export everything and delete your account at any time. I don't sell or share your data with third parties.

Does Prooof work on mobile?

Yes - the dashboard works in any modern browser and mobile apps are on the way. The Chrome extension lets the inbox scanner run wherever you read email.
